Ripple-Flex Process provides comfort through enhanced flexibility. BONTEX® new Ripple-Flex process improves flexibility and reduces stiffness by 30% to 40% as measured by the Taber Stiffness Test Method (TAPPI T 489). Ripple-Flex increases heel-to-toe flexibility while maintaining cross-wise rigidity for lateral stability. BONTEX® with Ripple-Flex process is a stronger and more flexible material which does not require further processing such as slashing or cutting. Also, BONTEX® Ripple-Flex processed materials provide enhanced ground insulation particularly for thin soled footwear. The Ripple-Flex process may be applied to any BONTEX® quality or gauge.
